Single and double nozzles for fiber laser cutting, in D28 M11 and D32 M14 standards, with various orifice sizes.
How to choose
- Larger orifice for thicker plate.
- A dented nozzle or one with spatter misaligns the gas flow and degrades the cut: replace it.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a single and a double nozzle?
The single nozzle is used for cutting with nitrogen or air (fusion cutting). The double nozzle directs oxygen more effectively and is the most common choice for oxygen-assisted laser cutting of carbon steel.
How often should I replace the protective window?
The protective window is a consumable: replace it whenever you see spatter, stains or visible burn marks. A dirty protective window heats up, loses cutting power and can damage the focusing lens.
How do I choose the focusing lens?
By diameter (D28, D30, D20…) and focal length (F100, F125, F150, F200) of your cutting head. A longer focal length gives more depth of focus for thick plate; a shorter one concentrates more energy for thin sheet.
